This blog is written by Tyler Norman, a “cross-pollinator” who dabbles in innovative education for all ages and demographics, community organizing and training, plastic and performative arts and media, and who loves to travel all over the USA and abroad to learn from and to share with new communities, effectively networking environmental and social justice movements.
For many years he was involved in the Beehive Collective, and still uses their artworks and story-telling techniques in diverse ways. This blog was started as a way of sharing with other “bees” some new experiments in popular education techniques and creative uses of the graphics. It has expanded in scope, but maintains the spirit of “pop-ed in praxis,” collaboration and experimentation in the pursuit of more effective and engaging methods.
Find herein descriptions of a variety of new presentations and workshops, as well as reflections on organizing and education strategy, etc. Other “cross-pollinators” are welcome to contribute as well! Submit your work here.
