After everything was finished, Pinak and I spent one day grading the students (I was definitely out of my comfort zone there, but I think we gave fair grades to everyone).
Two days later I took beehive banners and students’ banners to Kochi, hoping to show them at the epic Kochi-Muziris Bienniale, currently on-going. I was not very successful in showing the work, only finding a very quiet space to hang one beehive banner for a couple of days. But I did meet a lot of great people, and may have some future presentations/collaborations set up in Kochi and elsewhere. We will see…
I am hoping that this session at Srishti was just the practice round, and that during the next 3 months I have here, I can connect with other artists and activists to begin creating something really great. It will take a lot of persistent organizing to get everyone together, but I am working on that now. Hopefully, there will be more to share soon…
